LanaChat's share of your sales
On top of licences, LanaChat takes a share of the net sales made through your connected accounts. The share is bigger on what Lana sells herself than on what your team sells by hand, and it gets smaller as your month grows. It is taken from your balance at each sale.
The tiers #
One counter adds up the net sales of the whole workspace (all creators, all accounts, AI and manual together) in the calendar month. It resets on the 1st (UTC).

- Each sale is charged at the tier your counter has reached when it is paid.
- A sale that crosses $30,000 or $100,000 is split at the threshold.
- Whether a sale counts as an AI sale or a manual sale depends on who sent the paid offer. An offer sent by a script step is a manual sale. See AI sale or manual sale?.
Worked examples #
Note $50,000 net in a month, all sent by Lana: 30,000 × 12% + 20,000 × 10% = $3,600 + $2,000 = $5,600, an effective 11.2%.
Note $87,000 net in a month, all sent by Lana: 30,000 × 12% + 57,000 × 10% = $3,600 + $5,700 = $9,300, an effective 10.7%. The same month sold entirely by your team: 30,000 × 4% + 57,000 × 3% = $1,200 + $1,710 = $2,910.
Note A sale that crosses a tier: your counter is at $29,900 and Lana sells a $250 pack. $100 is charged at 12% ($12) and $150 at 10% ($15): $27.
What counts as a net sale #
Net sales are what the fan actually paid, after Telegram's share of Stars, payment fees and refunds. In the Console:
- Telegram Stars: each Star counts $0.013. A 2,500 Star pack is $32.50 of net sales; sold by Lana in the first tier, the share is $3.90.
- Payment links (FanGate, Dropp Fans and others): the amount the link actually settled. When that amount is not known, the Console uses the gross minus the provider's public fee, as shown in Billing (FanGate 8%, Dropp Fans 10%). For example a $49.00 Dropp Fans sale counts $44.10. At most 15% of payment fees are deducted.
- Refunds: a refund confirmed within 7 days gives the share back and lowers the counter. See Refunds and chargebacks.
What is never charged #
- Subscriptions sold outside the chat.
- Tips with no earlier message in the conversation.
- Sales made on tools not connected to LanaChat.
- Fans' messages: chatting costs nothing, only sales count.
