Your first sale: checklist
A first sale needs three things: paid content in the creator's Vault, a first-purchase script that offers it, and a price in Telegram Stars. This checklist walks through them in order, then shows where the sale appears once a fan pays.
Before you start #
The creator is live: Telegram account connected, licence assigned, AI Brain linked and Active, balance above $0. If not, go through the Go-live checklist first.
1. Put paid content in her Vault #
- Open Vault (Chatting group, under Tools) with the creator selected.
- Press Add media and upload at least two items: one to tease, one to sell.
- Open each item and set its Pricing:
- Teaser for the free media that makes him curious;
- Paid for the media you sell. Paid items are sent blurred and unlock with Stars, from 1 to 25,000.
Tip Choose an entry-price media for the first sale, easy to say yes to. Keep your premium media for fans who already bought.
See Vault.
2. Write a first-purchase script #
- Open Scripts (Studio group) and press New script.
- Write the steps: an Opener with no price, a Taste with the Teaser item (+ Add from Vault), a First offer with the paid item, and a Nudge that brings the offer back.
- On the paid step, set Unlock price to Vault price so the price from the Vault applies, or choose Paid to set one price in Stars for the step.
- Back in the list, check that the Active switch is on and press the star in the First column: the starred script is the first script, the one a new fan receives first.
The full walk-through is in Build a first-purchase script, step by step.
3. Let the AI Brain start it #
Scripts are written in Scripts and attached in the AI Brain. Open AI Brain, tab Scripts, then Schedule & selection: turn on Enable this script and choose Available to start (Anytime, Daytime, Night or a custom schedule, in the creator's time zone).
4. Test the sale in the Playground #
- Open Playground with the creator selected.
- Write as a new fan. Check that the opener arrives first, that the Teaser comes free, and that the offer shows its price in Stars with Test offer.
- Press Simulate purchase to see what she does after a payment, and Simulate decline to see how she handles a no.
No Stars are spent and nothing reaches Telegram.
5. Watch for the real one #
- Live Convs: a paid offer shows as a card with the price, Paid or Unpaid. The Sales bell at the top right lists the latest sales; click one to open the fan.
- Dashboard, Sales logs table: every sale with its date, source (Telegram for Stars), creator, content, fan, Net earnings and status. See Sales log.
- Agency settings, Telegram balance: the Stars on each creator's bot. Telegram holds Stars for 21 days before they can be withdrawn.
What it costs you #
LanaChat takes a share of the net sale from your balance when the fan pays. An offer sent by a script step (even a script Lana started), or by your team from Live Convs, counts at 4%, 3% or 2%. An offer Lana wrote and sent herself, outside any script, counts at 12%, 10% or 8%. See AI sale or manual sale?.
Note Payment links (FanGate, Dropp Fans and others) are another way to get paid. Add them in Agency settings, Payments. See How fans pay.
