Build a first-purchase script, step by step
A first-purchase script is the sequence a new fan receives before he has bought anything: a warm opener, a free taste, then a first paid media at an entry price. This guide builds one in about fifteen minutes, from the Vault to the AI Brain, and tests it before any fan sees it.
Before you start #
- The creator exists, with an AI Brain linked to her. See Create and link a brain.
- Her Vault holds at least one Teaser item (free, to make him curious) and one Paid item with a price in Stars.
Tip Pick the paid media for this script on purpose: a photo set or a short video that is easy to say yes to. Keep your premium media for the fans who already bought.
1. Create the script #
- Open Scripts in the Studio group of the sidebar and pick the creator at the top left.
- Press New folder and call it *First purchase*, so this sequence and its variants stay together.
- Press New script, then click its row to open the editor.
- Rename it in place, for example *First purchase, evening*, and write the Script goal: *Turn a new fan into a buyer with one entry-price media.*
2. Write the steps #
Each step has a Step name, a message or caption, and a delay before it is sent. A simple first-purchase script has four steps.
| Step | Delay | Content | Unlock price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Opener | Immediately | A short, warm line in her voice | Free |
| Taste | After 1 min | A Teaser from the Vault, with a caption | Free |
| First offer | After 10 min | The entry media, with a caption saying what he unlocks | Vault price |
| Nudge | After 1 h | A light reminder, no new media | Free |
- Write the Opener. One line, the way she would text, no price.
- Press
Ctrl+Enter(⌘+Enteron Mac) to add the next step. In Taste, press + Add from Vault and tick the Teaser item. - In First offer, add the paid media and set Unlock price to Vault price, so the price set in the Vault applies. Choose Paid instead only if you want one price in Stars (1 to 25,000) for everything in the step.
- Write the Nudge: a short line that brings the offer back without repeating it word for word.
Note A paid step with no caption gets a warning ("say what the fan unlocks"). A caption that tells him what he gets sells better than a bare price.
3. Check what the fan will see #
Switch from Edit to Preview. "What the fan receives" shows the steps as chat bubbles, with the delays applied. Fix every warning the page shows: an empty message, a paid step with no caption, more than 10 media in a step, or a media deleted from the Vault.
In the Telegram accounts card, keep All accounts unless this script is only meant for some of her accounts.
4. Make it the first script #
Back in the list, check that the Active switch is on, then press the ★ on its row. The starred script is the first script: the one a new fan receives first. Only one script per creator can be first; starring another one moves the star.
5. Decide when it can start #
Scripts are written in Scripts and attached in the AI Brain. Open AI Brain, the creator's brain, tab Scripts, then Schedule & selection:
- turn on Enable this script and choose Available to start: Anytime, Daytime, Night or a custom schedule, in the creator's time zone;
- leave Default priority as it is while this is her only first-purchase script.
See Scripts vs. AI for how the AI moves between its own replies and your steps.
6. Test it in the Playground #
Open the Playground, pick the creator and write as a new fan. Check that the opener arrives first, that the Teaser comes free, and that the first offer goes out at the Vault price. Nothing you type there reaches Telegram.
Then, every week #
- Open Statistics, tab Scripts: sends, replies, reply rate, sales and revenue for each script.
- Duplicate it to try a different opener or entry media (the … menu, Duplicate). A duplicate is never marked first, so the live script keeps running until you move the star.
