Start here: what an AI assistant can do for you

3 min readUpdated Markdown

An AI assistant can set up your LanaChat workspace for you. You talk to it in plain words. It does the clicks in your place, through the LanaChat MCP server. Plan about 5 minutes to connect it, then about 30 minutes for a first creator.

What MCP is, in five lines #

  • MCP is an open standard. It lets an AI assistant use the tools of an app on your behalf.
  • LanaChat runs an MCP server at https://api.lanachat.ai/mcp. It is live today.
  • You give the assistant a token. The token says what it may do in your workspace.
  • The token's boxes decide what each tool may do: a tool outside them refuses, with a clear message.
  • No tool sends a message to a fan. Ever.

What the assistant does for you #

  • Starts by reading your Get started checklist, so it knows what is done, what still blocks replies and the next step.
  • Creates a creator: name, age, language, nationality, bio, prices.
  • Sorts her photos in the Vault, sets their prices in Stars and her profile photo.
  • Creates her AI Brain, writes her persona and a first script, all as a draft.
  • Tests the draft in the Playground and shows you the replies.
  • Publishes the brain, connects her Telegram bot and turns replies on, each time only after you write "yes".
  • Every day after that: reads your sales, your fans and your numbers, and changes a brain or a script when you ask.

What stays with you #

A few steps cannot be done by an assistant: the business connection in the Telegram app, topping up your balance, and tracking (links, pixels, domains). The assistant tells you when it is your turn and which screen to open.

Before you start #

  • A LanaChat account where you are the owner (or an agency owner).
  • A computer with a terminal (Mac, Windows or Linux), or a desktop assistant app.
  • An AI assistant that can connect to an MCP server: Claude Code, Codex, Claude Desktop, Cursor or VS Code.

The path, in order #

  1. Install Claude Code or Codex (10 minutes, skip it if you already have one).
  2. Create your MCP token in the Console.
  3. Connect your assistant: Claude Code, Codex, or Claude Desktop, Cursor and VS Code.
  4. Test the connection: ask it to list your creators.
  5. Paste the setup prompt and answer its questions.
  6. Do the Telegram step only you can do, then check what the assistant cannot do.

Tip Never paste your token in a chat with the assistant. It goes in the configuration only, once.
