# AI sale or manual sale?

LanaChat takes 12%, 10% or 8% on what Lana sells, and only 4%, 3% or 2% on what your team sells by hand. So which is which? One rule decides: **who sent the paid offer**.

## The rule

- A **paid offer** is the locked media, the price or the payment link sent to the fan.
- Sent by **Lana**: it is an **AI sale**.
- Sent by **a person on your team** from Live Convs: it is a **manual sale**.
- Sent by **a script step**: it is a **manual sale**, charged at the team tiers (4%, 3%, 2%). An offer Lana chose to send herself is an AI sale (12%, 10%, 8%).
- A **tip** goes to whoever sent the last message to the fan before it: by Lana, an AI sale; by your team or a script step, a manual sale.
- There is **no time window**. If Lana sent the offer on Monday and the fan pays on Friday, it is an AI sale.
- Turning Lana off in a conversation never changes an offer that was already sent.

## See it in the chat

In [Live Convs](https://lanachat.ai/guides/live-convs/), under every paid offer, a small line says who sent it and the tier: "Sent by AI · 12% tier" or "Sent by you · 4% tier". An offer sent by a script step says "Sent by a script · 4% tier".

| A chatter takes over, sends a pack from the Vault with a price, the fan pays | Manual sale |
| Lana sent the offer, then a chatter takes over and chats, the fan pays the same offer later | AI sale (Lana sent it) |
| A chatter sends a payment link by hand, the fan pays it | Manual sale |
| A script step sends a paid video, the fan unlocks it | Manual sale |
| Lana chats, the fan sends a tip right after her message | AI sale |
| A chatter replies, the fan tips after that reply | Manual sale |

> Note: Taking over a conversation does not cost you more. If your team closes the sale, you pay the manual rate on it.

## Check it in Billing

Open **Billing**, **Activity**, pick **Sales**, then **Sent by AI** or **Sent by human**. Each sale line shows its tier and who sent it ("tier 2 · AI", "tier 1 · human"), the net and the commission taken.
